- as stated, the HR Advisor will need to chip in and help the Head of HR doing quite a lot of admin tasks initially to get everything set up. You'll therefore need to be someone who enjoys creating processes and mapping them out

- as a HR Advisor, you will work under the HR BP and manage your own ER casework for this area of the business

- you will work on L&D initiatives and alongside managers to develop and upskill people, and work on aligning this to the business strategy
- this will be a very dynamic role in which you will never get bored, because you will not only get exposure to all the standard HR Advisor responsibilities, but to areas such as L&D, Recruitment and Selection as well as different projects and initiatives
- the company is very big on training and development, so you will work closely with managers and upskill them in terms of best HR practice, giving them the confidence to deal with issues on their own and provide advice as needed
- you will prepare and deliver relevant training materials, HR guides and "HowTo’s", you will review and update policies and procedures, will advise and lead on ER matters, absence and will also support the recruitment process from start to finish

- one day you can be dealing with a disciplinary in the morning, a capability meeting in the afternoon and the next day, you can be involved in a grievance, a TUPE, support with redundancies and restructures etc
- in terms of employee benefits, you will work with the Executive Team in providing these and also ensuring that they remain competitive
- in other words, this role will be challenging and rewarding at the same time as it will shape your HR knowledge and improve your confidence when handling complex situations
