Responsibility
- the Data Analyst / Warehouse Manager role is one split into two main parts
- firstly, it's about effective management and leadership of the team
- secondly, it's about identify all the ways that efficiencies and improvements can be made across the operations at this site
- initially you will want to watch and listen to understand how the site works
- this will allow you to identify where systems and processes can be tweaked or redesigned
- the site runs two shifts from 7am - 7pm. The Data Analyst / Warehouse Manager role is Mon-Fri, 8am - 5pm
- you'll need to ensure you collaborate and work with them in order to get them on your side if you truly want to make an impact
- once you get more attuned to how everything works and you've started to collect various data points, then your time to really shine will begin as you can identify what the data is telling you and where further business process improvements can be made
Requirements
- previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or supply chain environment is critical
- you must have worked with a Warehouse Management Software previously
- be able to demonstrate how you have worked with data to make improvements or recommendations
- previous line management experience is highly beneficial
