Responsibility
- manage and oversee the day-to-day operations of the home
- develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the safety, well-being, and development of young people
- recruit, train, and manage a team of professionals
- establish and maintain positive relationships with young people, families, staff, and stakeholders
- monitor and report on the performance of the home, including budget management and financial reporting
- ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations
- work closely with the Senior Management team to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services
Requirements
- level 5 diploma in leadership and management of Residential Childcare or an equivalent qualification
- OFSTED Registration
- minimum of 3 years of experience in managing a children's home or a related setting
- managed or supervised for at least 2 years within the last 5 years
- proven track record of Good or Outstanding Ofsted inspections in the last 3 visits
- A clean DBS check
- full UK driving license
- strong leadership and management skills
