Responsibility

  • to give support and guidance to the young people
  • safeguard each young resident, identify concerns, and report them effectively
  • use Positive Behaviour Support Plans to understand the needs of the young person and what their strengths and goals are
  • teach basic life skills
  • implement and maintain clear and consistent boundaries
  • play an active part in everyday life including household duties, school runs, health appointments, contact visits and extracurricular activities

Requirements

  • hold a Full UK Driving Licence
  • experience of working with vulnerable children and young people
  • residential Childcare: 1 year
  • support Environment: 1 year
