- the Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and optimization of all logistics activities for my client
- this includes managing the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of retread tires and other related products
- develop and implement logistics strategies that support the business goals
- manage the transportation of retread tires and other related products, including selecting carriers, negotiating rates, and tracking shipments
- management of 3PL transport provider
- manage the warehousing of retread tires including space planning, inventory control, stock integrity and order fulfilment
- manage the distribution of retread tires and other related products, including selecting routes and scheduling deliveries
- direct responsibility for the Warehouse Operatives

- strong understanding of logistics principles and practices
- strong warehouse system experience
- leadership qualities including the ability to enthuse and motivate
- excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A strong knowledge of Health & Safety at work
- 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
