Responsibility
- understanding all the recipes in the food menu
- understanding and adhereing to cross contaminations and customers dietary requirements
- prep work of food items
- ensuring the customers get their orders on time
- ensuring all the food stuffs are available in the kitchen
- making food as per the order requirements
- plating, dressing and visualisation of foods
- performing simple food preparation such as making sandwiches, frying etc
Requirements
- proven experience as Short Order Chef/Cook, or a similar role in the Hospitality industry
- demonstrate extensive knowledge and understanding of kitchen sanitisation
- understanding of food plating and serving methods
- good oral and written communication skills
- good multi-tasking abilities
- showcasing knowledge of using various kitchen equipment and tools
- ability to lift heavy loads and objects
- good physical stamina
