Responsibility
- carefully pack finished flower arrangements in boxes and packaging materials to prevent damage
- unload deliveries of flowers, vases, embellishments, and other floral supplies
- wrap more delicate flowers and embellishments separately to avoid crushing
- use inventory system to log and track new stock
- ensure correct identification tags are secured to all boxes and arrangements
- carefully restock shelves and storage areas with incoming floral materials and packaging
- load packed boxes with care onto trucks or vans for transportation
- assist in preparing wholesale orders for shipping
Requirements
- proven warehouse experience, including stocking and inventory control
- excellent attention to detail and care when handling delicate flowers
- ability to carefully handle delicate flowers
- reliable transportation to and from the studio
- attention to detail in inventory procedures and record-keeping
- professional, team-oriented work ethic
- ability to lift 50 lbs and be on your feet for shifts
- forklift operation certification a plus
