Requirements

  • proven experience of being responsible for UK payroll for a medium sized company
  • demonstrable experience of operating computerised payroll systems, including PAYE, SSP, SMP, SPP, P45’s, P60’s, and year end data
  • able to communicate, clearly and concisely, across all levels of the organisation in a professional manner
  • methodical and organised approach to work, with a keen eye for detail
  • able to effectively prioritise workload and meet strict deadlines
  • line management experience, including coaching and development
  • experience of operating Sage 50 Cloud payroll system
  • qualified to CIPP foundation degree level

Responsibility

  • we are recruiting for a Payroll Supervisor to join our team in our Hexham branch to work alongside the People & Finance teams, managing the monthly and four weekly payrolls for our six branches
