- perform routine landscape maintenance tasks, such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns
- plant and maintain flowers, shrubs, and trees
- apply weed killer to ensure they are kept under control
- clean and maintain walkways, parking lots, and other outdoor areas
- operate and maintain hand tools and power equipment used in groundskeeping
- assist with minor maintenance and repairs
- remove debris and litter from the grounds
Requirements
- previous experience in landscape maintenance or groundskeeping preferred
- knowledge of different plants, flowers, and trees commonly found in the area
- familiarity with hand tools and power equipment used in groundskeeping
- physical stamina to perform manual labour tasks for extended periods of time
- ability to work independently or as part of a team
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
