Responsibility
- design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure using services such as EC2, RDS, S3, Lambda, ECS, and IAM
- collaborate with development teams to implement Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines for efficient and reliable software delivery
- monitor system performance and reliability, and implement proactive measures to optimise resource utilisation, enhance security, and ensure high availability
- manage and administer MySQL databases, including schema design, performance tuning, backups, and replication
- implement and maintain RESTful APIs for seamless integration between different systems and services
- develop and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation to automate deployment, scaling, and management of infrastructure resources
- troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, including network connectivity, server errors, and performance bottlenecks. Work closely with development teams, driving timely project delivery and ensuring adherence to rigorous quality standards
- stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and infrastructure automation, and evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools
