  • health and safety manager

Responsibility

  • provide competent advice on matters pertaining to health, safety, environment and quality to directors, contracts managers, and other employees
  • ensure Hereford Asbestos Services maintain accreditation to standards determined by the business including SafeContractor and ConstructionLine and SSIP
  • provide a focal point for communication to and from employees, including the employee representative, in relation to health, safety, environment and quality
  • liaise with relevant authorities including the HSE and the Environment Agency to ensure that all licences and permits are current, and that the work undertaken meets the requirements of such licences and permits
  • act as a Single/Main Point of Contact with membership organisations such as British Safety Council
