Responsibility
- process supplier invoices, reconciliation of statements and the logging and recording of purchase orders
- resolving in a timely professional manner any inconstancies, queries or incorrectly raised invoices & requesting credits / refunds where necessary
- raise, reconcile and chase overdue invoices to domestic customers on our accounting software - Xero
- issuing remittance advices to suppliers and subcontractors
- monitor & claim rebates from specific suppliers/manufacturers
- assisting our Accountants with VAT & Corporation Tax returns and forwarding on all required documentation
- chase missing receipts/invoices when required
- general scanning, photocopying, filing, document creation and necessary spreadsheets as required
Requirements
- AAT qualified would be ideal but not essential
- previous experience in a similar role advertised
- experience within the construction industry
- experience of using computerised accounting system – Xero
- sound knowledge of basic financial and accounting practices
- good communication and organisational skills
- excellent telephone manner and customer care focus
- good team player and communicator
