Responsibility
- when in the office, produce technical reports for clients from site data received in various formats and media
- well-presented and enthusiastic in a customer-facing role
- happy to carry out any other reasonable instruction given by the Directors
- carrying out structural investigations such as load testing, instrumentation, visual inspections, non-destructive testing or site sampling in line with Health and Safety regulations and specific project requirements
Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar science-based field
- effective communication skills, able to manage changing priorities and work as part of a team
- must have knowledge of civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD LT, Civil 3D, and Civil Design Studio
- health and safety awareness, experience of implementation preferred
- knowledge and experience of compiling reports preferred
- flexible and positive attitude with the ability to stay calm under pressure
- the job is physical in nature and requires physically fit people as medicals are required to work for some clients
