Responsibility
- compiling thorough assessment reports and identifying recommended strategies in respect of a young person’s occupational needs in their various environments
- delivering therapy interventions in person and virtually, as appropriate
- providing advice, training and therapy programmes to education staff, families, and other health professionals within areas of expertise

- space and office facilities are in Bridgend and will be the main location
- maintaining contact with families and/or the instructing party throughout the case engagement to ensure continuity and care
- there will also be opportunities to work from home where appropriate, and if desired
- assessing a wide range of motor, perceptual, and sensory challenges, and identifying how these impact on a young person’s ability to function in a variety of settings
- evaluating treatment outcomes, making onward referrals , and discharging
- working under the direction of Case Managers, as part of a treating multidisciplinary team
- planning appropriate therapy interventions using evidence-based practice, with timing of treatment negotiated with a young person’s family and supporting professionals, following funding agreement
- demonstrating clinical effectiveness by use of evidence-based practice and outcome measures

- managing a complex caseload whilst recognising own professional boundaries and accessing supervision, advice, and support when necessary
- we work with them to identify their strengths and challenges, whilst supporting them to embrace their uniqueness and advocate for themselves
- working closely with relevant parties regarding individual young people
- undertaking other duties as reasonably directed by the Therapy Director
- always ensuring compliance with all relevant social distancing best practices and regulations
- maintaining contemporaneous, up-to-date, and accurate case notes in line with professional standards, using systems provided
- role Details: Full time preferred, compressed hours negotiable. Six month probation period. Salary is competitive and will be dependent on experience
