Responsibility

  • compiling thorough assessment reports and identifying recommended strategies in respect of a young person’s occupational needs in their various environments
  • delivering therapy interventions in person and virtually, as appropriate
  • providing advice, training and therapy programmes to education staff, families, and other health professionals within areas of expertise
  • advising on adaptive equipment, adaptations, moving and handling and therapeutic interventions as required
  • space and office facilities are in Bridgend and will be the main location
  • maintaining contact with families and/or the instructing party throughout the case engagement to ensure continuity and care
  • there will also be opportunities to work from home where appropriate, and if desired
  • assessing a wide range of motor, perceptual, and sensory challenges, and identifying how these impact on a young person’s ability to function in a variety of settings
