Responsibility
- adapt and improve the aesthetics and functionality of our new UGV products
- evaluate and implement third-party hardware and software with our UGV products
- evaluate, test and deploy remote control systems for ground vehicles utilising relevant cloud services
- create proof of concepts for UGV applications with relevant documentation
- work with third-party suppliers to educate them on the advantages of UGV products for their application, and test potential solutions
- creating new mounts and tests parts in CAD to be manufactured in-house using our range of equipment and materials
- maintain our UGV hardware, troubleshoot potential issues, and highlight areas for evolution
- collaborate with the wider business, highlighting technical details and driving commercial adoption
Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- bachelor’s or Master’s in a robotics related field
- experience integrating third-party sensors into existing robotics software
- knowledge of common communication methods in robotics
- in-depth knowledge of standard robotics hardware
- CAD skills with Autodesk Fusion 360 or a similar CAD software
- knowledge and/or experience of robotics simulation in Gazebo or similar
- experience with AI/ML would be beneficial
- experience with a relevant programming language and ROS/ROS2
