Responsibility
- we are looking for an experienced baker and cake decorator for maternity cover
- must be willing to work extra hours during busy periods and will include weekend work
- ideally the candidate will have experience in baking but we will consider someone who has exceptional baking and cake decorating skills but in a non-commercial environment. Must be used to a fast paced, busy kitchen
- salary and hours dependent on experience. Must be hard working, flexible and have a passion for all things cake
Requirements
- baking cakes, brownies and cupcakes
- levelling/splitting/filling/covering cakes - icing messages
- working with ganache & sharp edges
- decorating cakes with buttercream designs
- patisserie such as macarons, meringues
- covering cakes with fondant
- sugar modelling
- baking: 1 year
