Requirements

  • degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role preferably in a construction based business
  • strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
  • proficiency in using Xero
  • excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • ability to work independently and meet deadlines
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibility

  • comparison of monthly results to budget and amending forecasts as the year progresses
  • preparation of end of year schedules for the auditors
  • completing/ reviewing WIP calculations for the four operating companies
