Responsibility
- managing a team of care workers and ensuring that they provide high-quality care services to clients in their homes
- conducting assessments of clients' needs and creating care plans in consultation with the clients and their families
- ensuring that all care plans are implemented and that clients receive the care they need, in accordance with their care plans
- providing support and guidance to care workers on a day-to-day basis, including training, supervision, and performance management
- liaising with healthcare professionals, social workers, and other stakeholders to ensure that clients receive the appropriate care and support
- monitoring and reporting on the team's performance, including compliance with regulatory requirements, and taking appropriate action to address any issues
- being flexible with time and available to cover shifts as required
- having experience in supervising staff and recruitment
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
- experience of working in domiciliary care, including managing a team of care workers
- experience in supervising staff and recruitment
- excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- knowledge of relevant legislation, policies, and procedures related to domiciliary care
- ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- A caring and compassionate attitude towards clients and their families
