Responsibility
- organise and deliver 2-4 public engagement events across the year working at times with the staff team, our volunteers and others
- maintain an internal monthly activity report that feeds into our statutory 6-monthly and annual performance reports
- produce a calendar of engagement activities across the year using information that you will proactively identify/be shared with you and develop an approach to engagement and communications that support these activities
- you will be supported to develop a good understanding of our existing and planned work, campaigns run by Healthwatch England and wider public engagement activities to help you do this
- this includes recording details of our wider engagement e.g., media interviews, meetings attended, queries from our helpline including documenting the leading areas of enquiry, advice and guidance published, etc
- produce press releases which promote our work when required or an interest to learn the skills required
