Responsibility
ensure all work is completed satisfactorily
to undertake the receipt of goods and use of correct storage and stock rotation, recording delivery temperatures as appropriate
to record fridge and freezer temperatures twice daily as necessary
to check, record all food temperatures at end of cooking, and take appropriate action if necessary
to check all food for quantity, quality, taste and appearance before distribution
to prepare, cook and serve food in accordance with menus, recipes and portion control procedures, and as instructed by the Home Manager, ensuring all food is produced in the correct quantity at the correct time
to arrange deliver of the meals with the staff
to know, understand and follow the companies Food Safety Policy and Food Safety Codes of Practice at all times, thereby ensuring the food is stored, handled, prepared, cooked and served in such a way and under such conditions as to prevent the contamination of food
