Quality Manager – Magherafelt – Salary Circa £32K (Perm and Mat cover available)The Role:Technical aspects of raw material supplier approval.Supplier auditing and inspection.Raw material sustainability reporting and associated audits.Audit preparationDuties:To ensure food safety, Integrity and quality objectives are always met.To work closely with suppliers on raw material quality, Integrity, food safety and legality.To ensure all raw materials meet the standards set out by customers in specific codes of practice.To work closely with retailers on critical paths, regulatory requirements and raw material queries.To work closely with the production management team to ensure timescales for projects are in line with production requirements.Facilitate NPD/Process Development during innovation, design and launch of new products.Robustly investigate complaints and report findings related to raw materials and packaging.To assist the Head of Technical in developing our quality management system and key processes in line with site requirements.To be part of the HACCP/TACCP/VACCP team.To prepare & be involved in site visits and audits.Conducting Traceability exercises. Internal and supplier tests.Conducting Internal audits e.g., Quality Systems, GMP, Hygiene, Glass audits etc...To manage areas within the QMS system as agreed with the Head of Technical.Criteria:Experience in a similar role.Food Science degree or similarStrong working knowledge of HACCP, BRC, retailer codes of practice and food legislationExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcel, Word and Powerpoint and/or other presentation platform skillsStrong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work to strict deadlines

Shift Quality Manager – Dungannon – 6 month fixed term contract£30,195/annum (pro rata)Shift –Week 1 – Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and SundayWeek 2 – Wednesday, Thursday, FridayWe have an exciting opportunity for a shift Quality Manager to join our team within the Dungannon Retail site on a fixed term 6 month contract.Working closely with the Production team, Customers, Engineering, supply chain and our employees, this will be a hands on role with scope to shape and develop a high performing and effective Quality Team, driving a Food Safety Culture throughout the site and working proactively and collaboratively with our production colleagues to ensure we deliver on our quality commitments to our customers.The Role: · Responsibility for Quality standards within the production area· Being the driving force behind Food Safety Culture initiatives· Providing up to date reports, analysis and feedback to the Site FSQ Manager· Supplier non-conformance reporting and actions· Integrity of process including label verifications· Investigating with Root Cause Analysis on any Customer complaints· Maintaining the Quality Management system· Attending Pit Meetings as well as daily Production Meetings· Ensuring regular meetings and action updates with Hygiene manager· Completion of Audits GMP, Allergen etc· Follow up Pest control CAs· Schedule Validations and Calibrations· Review Service Level Agreements & Haulier approvals· Responsible for Quality team on the shift, in terms of work structure, communication and effectiveness· Employee Interviews, performance management and development plans· Drive the continuous improvement agenda within the team· Building strong collaborative relationships
