Responsibility
- component / specialist sub-assembly manufacture
- working to detailed engineering drawings
- support of development product and components using basic machine shop equipment
- proactive approach to improvements of the build process and self-validation
- maintain the production area and equipment to ensure a safe, clean and organised environment
- national and international travel
- liaising closely with the Production Supervisor and the engineering team to ensure that products are completed on time and built to the technical brief
Requirements
- city & Guilds in a relevant field or equivalent qualification/experience would be desirable
- good mechanical assembly and testing background
- good practical and technical skills
- vacuum leak testing
- understanding of engineering drawings and principles
- welding experience
- ability to work methodically and precisely
- ability to manage a varied workload in an efficient manner
