Responsibility

  • cook / Chef
  • we are looking for a cook / chef to join our team at a Residential Care Home
  • the applicant should be competent in a Kitchen and have knowledge of good practice within a Kitchen / Commercial Kitchen
  • the candidate will report to the manager and work closely with management to ensure nutritious food is provided to all residents
  • candidate must be flexible to work alternate weekends and be organised and reliable
  • the candidate must have a positive approach to working and learning the processes that are required within a kitchen
  • the candidate will have control and responsibility within the kitchen and carry out the ordering, management and stock take for all groceries / food items
  • the candidate working hours will be 7am - 3pm per day starting in good time to prepare breakfast and ending after the lunch service
