Responsibility
PURPOSE The purpose of this role is to efficiently manage the finance function on behalf of the company, while working alongside the Directors, Clinicians, and senior management team to deliver an exceptional service to the patients of Mental Health and Wellbeing Services
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manage and supervise the finance function, which include; Daily check in, support, respond to queries, clarify roles Develop and implement efficient administrative processes for timely delivery of team objective Act as a key part of the management team
supporting the delivery and planning process Finance Management Bank reconciliation, daily and monthly Invoice processing, including payments and receipts; communicate with the team and Patient information system as necessary Management and maintenance of QuickBooks system, including data input, management reporting and annual accounts
manage and advise regarding Directors loan account Manage, advise and report on director tax liabilities Director payments, including dividends, salary and expenses Liaise with Chief Operating Officer re waiting list initiatives/overtime / extra pay Process payroll / post payroll journals to QB, including payroll/overtime reporting, payments to staff and HMRC Management of NEST pension plan on behalf of company, including liaising with employees All HMRC returns and reports, including PAYE, P11D, P60, VAT and company tax returns Manage debtors and creditors, chase aged debt as required End of month invoice insurers for patient appointments in previous month, including reconciliation of payments received , also invoice Solicitors as required Raise invoices for private patients, including updating of information system where appropriate Prepare the accounts working paper for the year end for Accountants Liaising with internal management and external companies in regard to other finance matters as and when required Planning Contribute to the strategic development of Mental Health & Wellbeing Services Ltd as required Produce an annual financial plan and budgets that complement the organisational plan Support the work to develop better forecasting of activity and financial information CPD and training Continuous Professional Development and maintain own CPD records Support the clinical admin team in adjusting to change in processes where required, to include staff communication and training Contribute to organisation of staff team days and facilitating and training as required Development Implement company-wide policies as necessary Support the development of new administrative processes, IT systems and other developments, with a focus on efficiency and cost Liaise with MHWBS wider team as required, providing cover and support for other senior managers during periods of leave or sickness where required
