level 3 Pharmacy Technician certificate
level 2 in Pharmacy Services/Dispensing highly desirable

Responsibility
adhere to company policies and procedures for dispensing medicines
maintain dispensary equipment, ensuring it is clean, accurate and in a good state of repair
use the computer, ensure all information is recorded in individual patient records
abide by NHS Information Governance as well as company standards of confidentiality
comply with all company policies, rules and procedures at all times
dispense medicine as stated on prescriptions, maintain accurate dispensing records, ensure medication is labelled with correct drug name, strength, quantity, directions for use, patient’s name and include any additional required information
ensure correct medication on the prescription is given to the patient, confirming the details shown on the prescription form and the label and confirming dosage instructions where appropriate
provide a timely, and qualitative dispensing service

maintains pharmacological knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
dispenses medications by compounding, packaging, and labelling pharmaceuticals
contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
successful candidate need to have following skill base and experience
completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing technicians' work flow; verifying their preparation and labelling of pharmaceuticals; verifying order entries, charges, and inspections
