Responsibility
- the job role will include dealing with customers’ bookings and queries via email or telephone
- experience within transport is much preferred and if not, the ability to prove the equivalent skills is essential
- A hugely successful logistics company based in Biggleswade, specialising in Same Day deliveries, Warehouse Storage, Pallets, Overnight, European and International deliveries, is looking for an outgoing, ambitious Transport Administrator who will join our team in providing a top quality, market-leading logistics service
- creating bookings on our Transport Management system, pricing work, selecting appropriate vehicles and close communication with drivers and contractors to ensure the highest quality of customer service
- therefore, Candidates must have experience in a busy office environment handling multiple inbound calls & emails along with working well together within a team
- full training will be given, including warehouse, driver and Transport Planner shadowing to gain a full understanding of the business operation from start to finish and an appreciation of all team member roles
