Responsibility

  • sunday cook needed to work in friendly dementia care home located in West Worthing
  • prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner
  • follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures
  • maintain a clean and organized work area
  • be aware of residents food requirements i.e allergies

Requirements

  • previous experience as a cook is preferred but not essential, all training will be provided
  • some knowledge of various cooking techniques
  • strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
  • ability to work on your own and take your own initiative
  • cooking: 1 year
  • kitchen experience: 1 year
