Responsibility

  • to lead the Team of Care Staff by example – setting high standards of work performance and behaviour
  • to lead shifts as required
  • support the Registered Manager in carrying our effective and timely staff Supervision
  • support the manager in leading on safe and effective administration of medication within the Home
  • support the development and maintenance of person-centred planning, ensuring each individual’s Plan has meaningful and achievable goals
  • to support the Registered Manager in the running of the Home and in particular, in ensuring the provision of the highest quality of care and support for Residents/Individuals that we support
  • support people with regards to decision making and lifestyle choices enabling them to take control of their own lives, thus maximising their independence

Requirements

  • ability to motivate and inspire Staff to perform at their highest level
  • experience of supporting individuals Older People within a Residential Care Home – along with a commitment to supporting people to maximise their independence and wellbeing
  • A clear and confident communicator; you will support the Manager and other Shift leaders in creating a nurturing environment for Residents and Staff
