Responsibility
- accidents to be reported as indicated in the policies and procedure manual any areas requiring maintenance will be reported, including blown light bulbs, scuffed wallpaper and paint and damaged furniture and equipment, and recorded
- to provide support to the laundry department when required and keep up to date on relevant laundry procedures
- manage the housekeeping and laundry teams rotas ensuring that skill mix and weekly hours are in budget and delivery of the luxury environment
- to clean sanitary and other equipment paying attention to guidelines in place for infection control and check to protect and in conjunction with the homes cleaning schedules and to dispose of waste in accordance with guidelines and policies and procedures
- report any hazards to health and safety to residents and or staff, in communal areas, service areas and individual rooms
