Responsibility
- be responsible for ensuring that only the appropriate assessed personnel give drugs/prepare drugs, and be responsible for drug keys, and the handover of all keys to the next shift
- to supervise/organise other members of staff on duty
- to inform Manager/Deputy of any significant changes in residents- contact by telephone where necessary if an issue is urgent
- ensure care is given in a professional manner, as per individual plan of care for each resident, agreed by the Manager
