Requirements

  • full UK Driving License , Driver Qualification Card and Tacho Card
  • at least 2 years of HGV driving experience preferably within construction
  • work remotely

  • the company Fleet Insurance stipulates that Drivers must not be under the age of 25 and must not have over 6 points on their licence. You must inform the office if stipulations are not met in the first instance or changes occur
  • driving a Goods Vehicle: 1 year

Responsibility

  • ensuring all accidents/incidents are reported in accordance with company and local site procedures
  • ensure sufficient knowledge/experience to carry out their duties safely and with minimum risk to themselves and others
  • their personal safety and ensuring all duties are carried out with minimum risk to themselves and others
  • not to interfere with any equipment provided for their safety and compliance with the site safety rules and instructions as contained within the company’s driver handbook, policies, procedures and risk assessments
  • ensuring all instructions cascaded down from the client or the company are implemented on site
  • ensure compliance to the Safety Responsibility Statements
