Responsibility
overseeing the helpdesk and managing/ delegating issues to 1st, 2nd and 3rd line engineers
providing remote technical support to customers via phone or email whilst maintaining a high level of customer service
tutoring and teaching junior engineers
ensuring that all incidents and requests are accurately logged and categorised within their in-house ticketing system
installing and configuring computer hardware, software operating systems, applications, systems, networks, printers, scanners and associated technologies
planning and undertaking scheduled routine maintenance checks and upgrades
communicating effectively with the team, customers and third parties taking ownership of user requests and escalating more complex service issues to the relevant team member when required

Requirements
5-year minimum experience working within a similar technical role
A very good understanding of Office 365
A good knowledge of Windows, 7, 10, 11 and Windows server / Mac operating systems
A very good understanding of Windows server applications
being self-motivated and organised
ability to work with the business team to ensure targets are being met
working to deadlines
A logical approach to problem solving
