Responsibility
- undertake maintenance, repair and modifications of locomotives and rolling stock in accordance with company policy, industry, and rail group standards
- to comply with Company Rules, Standards and Procedures
- record accurately all work carried out
- adhere and support the expected behaviours and values of the company
- an understanding of all locomotive systems
- engage with, understand, and adhere to all safety notices, rules and regulations
- ensure excellent standards of housekeeping are maintained in relation to safe systems of work and company best practice
- to achieve personal track safety and designated person certification
Requirements
- time served in an engineering discipline
- previous electrical experience of Traction and/or Rolling Stock
- ability to understand and follow maintenance instructions and drawings
- an understanding of the rail industry
