Responsibility
- install, maintain and repair plumbing, heating systems and bathrooms in domestic properties
- diagnose faults and carry out repairs to heating, plumbing, gas and water systems
- perform servicing, maintenance, and installations as required
- ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, practices and regulations
- provide exceptional customer service and maintain high standards of professionalism on every job
- you’ll be responsible for a mix of installation, service, and maintenance work in domestic properties. This includes everything from general plumbing to bathroom installs and heating system updates
Requirements
- an industry recognised qualification such as Plumbing SNVQ, NVQ or City & Guilds
- good customer care skills
- good communication, written and verbally
- hold a full UK driving licence
- able to work to a high standard without supervision
- due to working in domestic properties, a DBS check is required
- experience with boiler / heating system installation, servicing and fault finding - 5+ years experience is preferred
- CCN1, CENWAT, CPA1, CRK1 and HTR1 qualifications are essential. LPG qualifications, Unvented Hot Water and MSC renewables are also preferred, but not essential
Education
- A minimum of 5+ years post-qualification experience in the plumbing and heating industry is preferred
