Responsibility

  • ensure support to clients is of a high standard, in accordance with Harbour’s ethos, policies and procedures
  • ensure adherence to safeguarding procedures
  • undertake the Strategic Lead role on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of vulnerable persons
  • ensure clients are assessed; allocate clients to counsellors; review counsellors’ final reports and client outcomes
  • manage the counselling waiting list
  • ensure that client record systems are maintained
  • the Practice Manager may be required to undertake other duties that fall within the nature of the role and responsibilities of the post as detailed above. Any substantial or major changes will be negotiated
  • prepare monthly reports for the board of directors
