Responsibility

  • maintain accurate clinical records in line with RCVS guidelines
  • support Veterinary Care Assistants, the reception team and less experienced team members where applicable
  • administer medications, vaccinations, and fluid therapy as prescribed

Requirements

  • previous experience working in a veterinary practice desirable, but not required
  • excellent communication and customer service skills
  • strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask, prioritise tasks effectively and perform well under pressure
  • excellent phone etiquette and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • proficient and experienced using office and Practice Management Systems
  • proficient and experienced using practice management systems and office
  • attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
  • receptionist : 1 year

Responsibility

  • answer phone calls and emails as to schedule appointments and tasks, including taking medication requests
  • register, check and update client details
