Responsibility
- as a Prep Chef you would work across both store locations, the restaurant at 23 Sydney Street and 8 Pool Valley
- you would have a Supervisor in the kitchen with you as well as 2-4 other team members
- service shifts at the one or both restaurants in Brighton
- preparing Happy Maki’s salads and sauces before service each day
- ensuring weekly sauce production is complete during festival season
- fast paced food preparation and excellent understanding of food hygiene
- close monitoring of and communication with team members
- ensure quality control and consistency on shift
Requirements
- previous kitchen experience
- desire to take responsibility and use initiative in the role
- at least Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate, completed prior to role commencing
- confident and efficient knife skills for large amount of veg prep
- confident organizational skills
- clear communicator
- clear desire to be a team player
- strong multi-tasking skills
