Responsibility
end to end event management, supporting on multiple aspects within the portfolio of international events
assist account managers in producing campaign proposals, presentations, quotations, delivery plans, newsletters, press releases and budgets
ensure project delivery as per brief and monitor timeline to meet client's expectation
negotiate with contractors and suppliers for materials and services in order to meet client’s expectation and budget requirements
work with the production team to create designs, presentations and materials in accordance with the brief
engage with UK and Chinese media as required for the campaign and product media reports
engage with clients and stakeholders and ensure that each stage of the project is progressing on time, on budget and to the right quality standards
build, maintain and manage strong relationships with core client contacts, ensuring expectations are managed at all times. Take ownership of additional client requirements
Requirements
minimum of 1 year most recent experience related to conference and event management with a proven track record of delivering results
excellent command of English and Chinese as the employee will need to liaise with Chinese clients
able to produce proposals and presentations as relevant, and write internal communications
able to take a pro-active approach and work on own initiative
problem-solving skills and creative thinking in fluid or less structured environments

excellent organisational skills and able to multi-task
strong knowledge of PR and media engagement in China and the UK. Able to communicate effectively and sensitively with people from other cultures
