technical support engineer
Working hours

Responsibility
- with technical advice both before and after the sale
- hardware and control systems in our workshop or remotely assisting customers and our own engineers
- with the sales team to provide support and advice on project tenders
- are looking for a to provide top quality engineering support to customers and our service / aftersales team. We are a Honda Power Equipment and Caterpillar main dealer along with several other great brands
- and order parts for routine maintenance and repair of current and obsolete engines and generators
- to incoming calls and emails promptly
- to end-users and resellers of petrol and diesel generators - we cover the complete range from camping generators to large standby installations
Requirements
- previous experience of engine driven equipment - from small Honda engines to large diesel engines is preferable
- generator experience is not necessary but you may come from a garden machinery, commercial vehicle or other similar engineering industry
- this is mainly an office based role with some time necessary 'hands-on' in the workshop
- you will be experienced in talking to customers and suppliers on the phone, in person and via email / webchat
