Responsibility
support the business to grow by identifying new product, audience and territory opportunities
provide commercial support for other business cases as required
other key projects as required by the business
prioritise these opportunities by developing a ‘mini business case‘ for approval
report appropriately on agreed KPIs
develop scalable plans and oversee their delivery to agreed targets once prioritisation agreed
opportunities could include Geography reset and growth, British International Schools development and stronger commercial arrangements with Multi Academy Trusts
in co-ordination with the Sales team and Commercial Manager, identify ways to support the relevant teams to improve school’s recovery and retention
Requirements
experience of working in a commercial, sales or business development role in the travel sector for a minimum of 7 years
must be commercially ‘savvy’ and have the ability to identify growth opportunities via a good understanding of market and audience dynamics
must be an effective communicator and have strong inter-personal skills
must be able to effectively engage people and be a good team player
demonstrate a ‘can do’ attitude, effectively prioritise tasks, be resilient and handle pressure calmly and objectively
must be a ‘self starter.’
