Requirements
- ideally a bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Experience or other qualification routes considered
- proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of design thinking methodologies
- strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience designing for digital products, with a focus on human-centred design
- proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, or similar
- experience conducting user research, usability testing, and analysis
- solid understanding of UI/UX design principles, interaction design, and information architecture
- ability to work effectively in a small, collaborative team environment with a high degree of autonomy and flexibility
- excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
Responsibility
- additionally, you will lead the application of design thinking principles across all aspects of our products and services
- develop wireframes, mock-ups, prototypes, and user flows iteratively, incorporating feedback from stakeholders and users for both digital and real-life solutions
- we are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer and Design Thinking Specialist to join our small, but dedicated team in venture startup mode
- collaborate closely with the team to understand the vision, goals, and constraints of our digital products and real-life support services, applying design thinking methodologies
- as a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and experiences for our digital products targeting mature workers re-entering the workforce
- conduct user research, user testing, and analysis to gain insights into the needs, preferences, and behaviours of mature workers re-entering the workforce, both in digital and real-life contexts
- working closely with a small cross-functional team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact as we support our users on their journey back to work
- design visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications, prioritizing simplicity and ease of use for mature users, with a focus on empathy and human-centred design
