- as a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces and experiences for our digital products targeting mature workers re-entering the workforce
- conduct user research, user testing, and analysis to gain insights into the needs, preferences, and behaviours of mature workers re-entering the workforce, both in digital and real-life contexts
- working closely with a small cross-functional team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact as we support our users on their journey back to work
- design visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces for web and mobile applications, prioritizing simplicity and ease of use for mature users, with a focus on empathy and human-centred design
- lead the application of design thinking principles across all aspects of our products and services, fostering a culture of innovation, creativity, and continuous improvement
- work closely with the engineering lead to ensure seamless implementation of digital designs and coordinate with real-life support team members to integrate in-person services seamlessly
- iterate and refine designs based on user feedback, usability testing, and evolving product and service requirements, using an iterative design thinking approach
- stay informed about emerging technologies, design trends, and best practices in UI/UX design and design thinking, adapting strategies as needed for our startup environment
Requirements
- ideally a bachelor’s degree in design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field. Experience or other qualification routes considered
- proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment, with a strong understanding of design thinking methodologies
- strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and experience designing for digital products, with a focus on human-centred design
