Responsibility
- full time salary starting from £28,000 upto £32,000 depending on experience, 35 hrs per week
- to undertake and lead projects to improve service provision as and when required

- to lead with completing notifications to CQC, record outcomes on the relevant systems & databases, as & when required
- responsible for: Care Assistants, Catering, Maintenance Team
- ensure records are maintained and updated as required in order to enhance the quality of services in relation to maintaining the well-being, dignity, quality of life and environment of the service users
- to lead on the implementation of digital record, be adaptive and supportive to give staff the confidence to embrace changes
- to lead & supervise a care team of staff in provision of the care services and participate in meeting the services users' physical, social, emotional and recreational needs, ensuring the highest quality of care is afforded to all service users
- to ensure all rotas and weekly allocation sheets are completed clearly and accurately in relation to hours worked and payment due for compilation of the monthly payroll by the Home Administrator
- to lead with running & administering company policy and procedures in relation to recruitment and training to ensure the home has an effective & competent staff team with sufficient numbers and complimentary skills to meet resident needs at all times
- to ensure the health & safety regulations are adhered to at all times
- to attend staff meetings as requested by the Home Manager
- to co-ordinate & run staff meetings to deliver information, maintain & promote best practice and set standards for care, through evidence based practice
- to ensure the care of personal belongings of service users
- to lead with quality assessment, completing audits, to ensure all records held within the home are accurately kept and updated to comply with company policy & procedure and all current legislation e.g
- to identify & manage identified risks within the home, notifying the appropriate senior staff member immediately
Requirements
- level 3 Diploma/NVQ in Health & Social Care or equivalent
- level 5 Diploma/NVQ in Health & Social Care is ideal but not essential
- experience of leading & managing a team, ideally within a management role or senior, within a health care setting

- understanding of safeguarding adults at risk health & safety requirements related to running a care home and infection control
- understanding of the regulations and legislation within the care profession
- understanding of CQC, national minimum standards and key care principles
- excellent computer literacy and strong knowledge of all basic Microsoft programmes
- supervising in Care Home: 3 years
- experience of caring for individuals in a health care setting to include completing personal care and understanding of People with Learning disabilities and Dementia
