Requirements
- proactive and effective communicator , adapting communication approach to enable effective collaboration
- experience being part of a multi-currency environment
- minimum 3 years’ experience in a Credit Control position, ideally within an FMG environment
- experience of working in an FMG environment
- taking the initiative, bringing new processes and driving a pro-active approach to your work
- ability to multi-task, and to work to month-end deadlines
- attention to detail, assessing each account and delving into the data you have to prompt appropriate outcomes
- credit control: 3 years
Responsibility
- conduct bad debt analysis and report on the results
- monitor periodic credit reviews
- prepare statement of claims for liquidators
- this role will be responsible for credit granting process, including the consistent application of a credit policy, periodic credit reviews of existing customers and the assessment of the creditworthiness of potential customers, with the goal of optimising working capital and mitigating risk of bad debt
- manage Finance email inbox
- assist the broader accounts team, providing information to the appropriate accountants to ensure that any accruals / provisions are made in a timely and accurate fashion
- maintain the company’s credit policy to mitigate unnecessary risk
- process card payments
