Responsibility
- we have a well-equipped factory in Halifax with an in-house design team, bench joinery team and site joiners
- this is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to grow and develop their skills within the business
- technical design and development of client enquires
- collaborate with project managers and clients to develop the best possible design outcome
- hadley Interiors is a well-established bespoke joinery company providing design and build services to a range of clients from the museum sector, large retailers, main contractors and smaller independently owned businesses
- generating clear and accurate approval and production drawings
- working relationship with operations manger and shop floor joiners to help answer questions and problem solve through the production process
- we are part of a bigger group of companies and have been investing heavily in the growth of the business and have seen significant growth and expect to continue this trend as we push forward with ambitious plans for the business
Requirements
- an understanding of joinery manufacturing methods, materials and finishes
- A proven ability to generate accurate, detailed production drawings / technical drawings
- well organised and equipped for a fast turnaround from initial concept to design solution and manufacture
- being a team player who enjoys collaboration
- excellent written and verbal communications skills
- problem solver who takes a positive attitude when challenges arise
- 2+ years’ experience producing drawings and working in the bespoke joinery sector
