operations manager
Responsibility
- oversees the logistics operational systems, processes, and infrastructure while looking for opportunities to improve or revise
- provides operational support for the ReStores as directed
- supports the dispatcher by making outbound calls, responding to emails and voicemails, and securing the pickup of donation items
- establishes and maintains viable corporate relationships to procure repetitive or recurring donors and strategic partnerships
- inspect and evaluate the quality of donations
- maintain audit-ready records per internal requirements
- enhances the existing corporate donation program by sourcing for leads via cold calls, traveling to trade shows, advertising, scheduling visits, and other proven sales techniques
- conduct meetings and public speaking engagements by emphasizing the Habitat mission and updating the ReStore team on program developments
Requirements
- high school or equivalent required, some college desirable
- relevant work experience required, i.e., business sales, office environment, and leadership roles
- professional communication skills, face-to-face, and telephone
- good-decision making skills and response to high-pressure situations
- manual dexterity and visual acuity for computer keyboarding and office equipment
- able to withstand exposure to outdoor temperature extremes and limited climate controls indoors
- able to pass physical for Non-CDL drivers examine
- all employees subject to background and reference checks
