Responsibility

  • § Timely and effective collection of all debts and customers payments
  • § Maintaining and monitoring sales ledger producing all necessary reports
  • § Maintaining contact with customers to ensure invoices are clear for payment
  • § Resolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices
  • § In conjunction with the Company Accountant preparing a monthly report on debt for presentation to management
  • § Other accounting duties as required
  • § Posting and allocating daily receipts to Sage 50 accounting system ensuring all under or over payments are followed up with the customer

Requirements

  • § Ability to establish and maintain good client relationships, both internally and externally at all levels
  • § Ability to reconcile complex accounts and have excellent attention to detail
  • § Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • § Prior experience with Sage 50 systems
  • § Calm, confident manner to handle potentially uncomfortable conversations
  • § Ideally will have some knowledge of Applications for payments and retentions
