- an opportunity has presented itself within our transport company for a Logistics Transport Planner
- the successful candidate will join a long-established tanker business which continues to grow
- the candidate will need experience in chemicals and have extensive planning skills. You will be co-managing the fleet of 13 vehicles
- duties will include
- plan the fleet in an efficient and cost-effective way and ensure optimal usage, routing and scheduling for customers
- manage day to day issues of the drivers including performance and driver journey reporting
- ensuring all operations and systems meet with health and safety and legal requirements relative to the company's operator's licence
- build good relationships with customers and deal with relevant emails and resolving issues quickly and effectively
