Responsibility
train and manage the bar staff, ensuring that they are knowledgeable about the products and able to provide excellent customer service
monitor sales and revenue, and make recommendations for ways to improve profitability
develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the bar and increase business
manage the budget for the bar, including controlling costs and maximizing revenue
maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and customers
handle customer complaints and ensure that they are resolved quickly and effectively
manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures, managing inventory, and ensuring that the bar is clean and well-stocked at all times
maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring that the bar receives high-quality products at competitive prices
Requirements
excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
strong organizational and problem-solving skills
knowledge of bar operations and procedures, including inventory management, customer service, and marketing
familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations
ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
at least 3 years of experience working in a bar or restaurant, with at least 1 year of experience in a management role
