Responsibility
- train and manage the bar staff, ensuring that they are knowledgeable about the products and able to provide excellent customer service
- monitor sales and revenue, and make recommendations for ways to improve profitability
- develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the bar and increase business
- manage the budget for the bar, including controlling costs and maximizing revenue
- maintain a safe and secure environment for staff and customers
- handle customer complaints and ensure that they are resolved quickly and effectively
- manage the day-to-day operations of the bar, including opening and closing procedures, managing inventory, and ensuring that the bar is clean and well-stocked at all times
- maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring that the bar receives high-quality products at competitive prices
Requirements
- excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- knowledge of bar operations and procedures, including inventory management, customer service, and marketing
- familiarity with relevant health and safety regulations
- ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing excellent customer service
- at least 3 years of experience working in a bar or restaurant, with at least 1 year of experience in a management role
