Responsibility

  • you’ll attend conferences, forums and networking events to build relationships with maritime charity and grant making partners and others
  • you should have proven experience of generating new business, from prospect identification to securing new deals and partnerships
  • general Responibilites
  • as Business Development Executive, you will research and follow leads to identify and secure new business opportunities in line with the Guild’s long-term strategic goals
  • contributing to the ongoing review, reporting and evaluation of activities outlined in the Fundraising Strategy and Operational Plans
  • it’s essential that you can actively engage with all levels of stakeholder and develop long-lasting sustainable relationships built on trust and respect
  • candidates should have at least 5 years’ experience of working with businesses or organisations, and be passionate about working in the voluntary sector
  • keeping all internal systems up to date to enable knowledge management, business continuity and bespoke and appropriate approaches
