Requirements

  • up to date NRSWA certification is desirable but not essential
  • full driving licence
  • knowledge of FTTP network architecture and build methodologies
  • detailed understanding of FTTP network build civils and cabling activities
  • ability to identify and provide options to mitigate engineering risks
  • ability to provide conceptual design input that will improve/ benefit the final detailed design
  • knowledge of GIS software
  • awareness of Health and Safety Legislation and responsibilities

Responsibility

  • engage with Client Engineer to complete a pre-build walkout of all PON’s in the delivery schedule
  • agree on changes/improvements to made to the design
  • prepare the resultant ILC documents
  • track progress of ILC approvals/rejections
  • convert approved ILC’s into as built document
  • complete ant A55’s required
