Requirements
- experience of cleaning preferably within a Care Home environment
Responsibility
- to provide cleaning services within The Home in accordance with agreed standards, legislative requirements, relevant regulations, and in line with accepted best practices
- to maintain cleaning skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time-to-time be required in order to maintain that currency of practice
- attend and contribute to staff meetings as required
- report accidents/incidents and record them in the accident/incident book
- report any hazards observed when cleaning residents’ rooms to the Home Manager
- ensure confidentiality of all information relating to residents and the Homes
- complete cleaning checklists
